Predictions for Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 15 — Breaking Omnipotence and the Return of the Beasts
Omnipotence Theories and Developments in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex
As the Boruto: Two Blue Vortex manga progresses and the release of spoilers draws nearer, I’ve been formulating some theories about potential storylines. I believe a solution to breaking omnipotence has been subtly hinted at through Inojin’s case. However, the return of the beasts won’t be as straightforward as we initially thought, similar to how the Akatsuki returned in unexpected ways. The Shinju are now targeting the tailed beasts since they represent the greatest sources of chakra on the planet. I also anticipate the return of several characters, such as Shinju, Kakashi, and possibly Killer Bee. The concept of a Jinchuriki transformed into a Shinju would be fascinating to explore. Additionally, a critical discussion between Kawakiand Amado is likely to occur soon.
Flashbacks and the New Shinju
First, the chapter might open with a small flashback detailing how the new Shinju was captured and by whom. I suspect Matsuri in the Sand Village defeated Gaara but spared Shinki, who has become significantly stronger over the past three years. Shinki may has surpassed Gaara’s strength, prompting Matsuri to turn him into a Shinju. It’s also possible that Shinki will pursue Boruto with the intent to kill him, considering the connection they developed in the first part of the anime. However, Boruto will likely want to save Shinki, making it increasingly difficult for him to protect everyone as the enemy’s numbers grow.
The Thorn Soul Bulb and Freeing Sealed Individuals
A key issue will be figuring out what must be done with the thorn soul bulb to free those sealed in the trees. It can’t simply be about destroying it—perhaps it must be merged with the tree itself. This adds complexity, especially as more individuals are sealed, complicating the mission further.
Creation of the Shinju and a Jinchuriki’s Transformation
We know that all Shinju is created by cloning other characters but with vastly increased power. The only one that stands apart is Jura, who is also the strongest—the Ten-Tails with consciousness. As the invasion of the other villages begins, why wouldn’t the Shinjuwant hunt down the remaining sources of chakra—the tailed beasts?
Since the start of the series, the tailed beasts have been conspicuously absent, aside from a brief mention in the anime’s first part. I’ve long believed they were being reserved for a more significant purpose, and I think we’ve finally reached that point. Jura provides a perfect example of how a beast can be transformed into a Shinju, and I believe the first beast to be transformed will be Shukaku. He had a sort of friendship with Himawari, and this relationship could be central to future conflicts.
Himawari vs. Shukaku and Her Potential Growth
If Shukaku is transformed into a Shinju, I believe he will target Himawari due to their previous bond. This would set up a compelling and emotional fight between them, offering a unique opportunity for Himawari’s character development and her growth in power. Kurama is now within Himawari, and a battle between Shukakuand Kurama could explore their old animosity. This would provide the perfect training ground for Himawari, allowing her to grow stronger while dealing with increasingly complex emotional ties.
Himawari showed incredible potential in the fight against Jura, managing to create a Tailed Beast Bomb on her first try without Kurama’s help. Kurama even mentioned that, unlike Naruto, he couldn’t influence or assist Himawari directly—she was channeling his chakra of her own volition. This unique ability could be crucial in future battles.
Based on what we’ve seen so far, I think Shinju Shukakuwould provide the perfect battle for Himawari’s continued development. By then, she might have started to train with Kurama under the guidance of someone knowledgeable about maximizing Ninetails’ power. I also think learning how to assimilate nature chakra would benefit her, as Kurama often did for Naruto. Perhaps Kurama could teach her this without involving the Toads from Mount Myoboku.
We should expect a significant evolution on Himawari’s part. If she had Sakura to teach her perfect chakra control, she could learn how to channel Kurama’s chakra, completing the package for the most powerful Jinchuriki.
Since I mentioned Sakura, let’s talk about how I believe Omnipotence could be broken and how someone else might be able to recreate it. Let’s take it step by step. We know that Omnipotence is the supreme power of the Ōtsutsuki God, specifically Shibai Ōtsutsuki, through which he could create anything from nothing—not just physically but mentally, as we saw in Eida’scase. This supreme power functions constantly; it’s not something applied once and then disappears forever. Once Omnipotence is activated, it remains constant throughout someone’s life.
This is the point I wanted to reach. In the previous chapter, we saw Shikamaru dealing with the effects of Omnipotence, which constantly erases memories unwanted by the user or could be dangerous for uncovering the truth. These memories can be altered or even erased. However, in the scene where Sakura heals Inojin, there is something much more important than we initially thought.
We see Inojin lying on the bed, and Sakura is surprised that he’s completely healed after being pierced through the stomach. On the next page, we see the first moment that could be a clue towards solving Omnipotence. Sakura mentions that the chakra flow was interrupted, so she restarts it, and everything will be fine. Himawari had healed him, completely healing his wounds and damaged organs, but the chakra flow in his body was interrupted. This could mean that Inojin was considered dead for a few moments.
Many quickly overlooked this page, but I’ve realized how Omnipotence could be broken. We know that without chakra, any shinobi dies. Even Rock Lee has chakra, though he can’t channel it to create jutsus. Every ninja’s body has a chakra system similar to the nervous system. This system transports the chakra throughout the body and directs it to necessary points. Precise chakra control involves efficiently channeling it through these points. Every jutsu, whether simple or complex, requires precise chakra control. Also, without chakra, you cannot use ninjutsu, as chakra is used to influence someone’s mind. Chakra is the foundation of every jutsu. Without it, you cannot shape any technique.
Now that we know these things, it’s possible that when Inojin wakes up, he will no longer be affected by Omnipotence. That’s because the chakra system in his mind, which had been affected by Omnipotence, was disrupted. I think this could be the first clue toward solving the Omnipotence effect. Of course, this is a very brutal method, and if this is true, someone would have to die for a few seconds, have their chakra flow disrupted, and then be brought back to life to escape the effect of Omnipotence.
Himawari managed to do this with Inojin, but I’m not sure if such could be applied on a much larger scale, considering the whole planet is affected. One thing is certain: I believe this is one way someone could escape Omnipotence. Chakra represents everything. Even though Omnipotence is a Shinjutsu and not a normal jutsu, the chakra system in someone’s body remains the same. If it’s interrupted, they escape whatever affected them until then.
A beloved character once said, “Every technique has a weakness,” in this case, I think this is one of the weaknesses of omnipotence. How interesting would it be if, for the first time in this Boruto: Two Blue Vortex manga, a Jinchuriki transformed into a Shinju? We know that having a beast inside can protect you from many things, such as genjutsu. The beast can use its chakra to disrupt your chakra flow, thus freeing you from the genjutsu. A similar case happened with Inojin—by interrupting the chakra, in theory, one should be able to escape Omnipotence.
We are seeing more and more evidence supporting the possibility of this, and it’s interesting to note that Killer Bee didn’t die in Boruto, as many people believed.
Now, I want to discuss a second idea that could work. Although Eida has Omnipotence as an ability, she can control it. She mentioned that she used it only once before, and I believe that through Omnipotence, she created the ability for everyone to fall in love with her. The second time was with Kawaki. She cares a lot about him. It was like Shenron from Dragon Ball—she fulfilled a wish. But jokes aside, she loved Kawaki so much that, seeing him struggle all alone, she felt bad for him and wanted to help, though she didn’t know how. Subconsciously, her power activated. She put her hands on his face and granted his wish, changing Kawakiand Boruto’s lives.
Initially, Kawaki wanted people to stop protecting Borutoso much, and if he killed him, no one would care. The life swap gave him this opportunity. If he kills Boruto, everyone will think he killed a traitor anyway. All of this was possible because of Eida’s love.
In Sarada’s case, it was similar. She awakened her Mangekyou Sharingan out of love, though it was a bit different—she awakened it out of concern for Boruto, ensuring he didn’t die. We can see that if someone truly cares about another person, they can subconsciously grant that person’s wish.
I don’t think this will be the last time we see Omnipotence in action. Eida might eventually fall in love with Boruto, leaving Kawaki when she sees him continue to treat her badly. But this will likely happen in a critical moment, and some time will pass before it happens again.
Imagine the strongest characters from every village fighting against Boruto. Boruto may face Hidari with Black Lightning, Killer Bee, Taji, and Mitsukake together. It could be too much for Boruto to handle.
In Chapter 15 of the Boruto manga, Kawaki and Amado will have a long dialogue. They will discuss new dangers, and Kawaki will ask Amado to strengthen him. Maybe Amado will unlock some special potential or infuse Kawaki with Shibai Ōtsutsuki’s cells, awakening a new Shinjutsu. I think Amado would do it, especially since these monsters threaten his plans, and Kawaki is the only one who can bring his daughter back to life. He’ll be forced to do what Kawaki says.
Shikamaru’s position as Hokage is also in danger because the Elders are unhappy. They see him as overwhelmed by the situation, and we might see a twist where he is removed from his position, with someone new stepping in to continue the plan to capture Boruto. Another possibility is that they consider Boruto’s words—that Naruto and Hinata are still alive—and maybe they’ll give him a chance.
