Boruto Chapter 21 Leak: Sarada’s OP Mangekyō Power
Boruto Chapter 21: Sarada’s Mangekyō Powers Explained
You won’t believe what just went down in Chapter 21 of Boruto Two Blue Vortex. We finally got an explanation of Sarada’s new ability, and it’s straight-up overpowered. The name of her jutsu is Ohirume, which, in Japanese mythology, is another name for Amaterasu.
The cover shows Sarada, and the title? Mangekyō Sharingan.
Sarada’s new Mangekyō Sharingan ability is basically cheat-mode. Anything aimed at her gets instantly absorbed by Ohirume. She can even summon multiple portals at once, and from the looks of it, she can target several enemies simultaneously. One of the portals actually starts pulling Ryu in. She can expand the size of these spatial vortexes, and possibly even use them to completely erase her enemies.
But here’s the catch: it seems like she needs to see the attack in order to activate her defense. The technique clearly takes a major toll on her. After using it, she passes out, but Mitsuki manages to catch her before she hits the ground.
What’s wild is that when the portal started dragging Ryu in, Sarada was floating in mid-air too—just like him—as if the same gravitational force was lifting them both.
That confirms my black hole theory, and thanks to this power, she might actually be able to fly. Ryu tries to escape using his Claw Scratch technique; his fingers even start appearing inside a weird cube within the Tree Dimension. Jura notices it, but Ryu can’t move. He’s paralyzed by the gravity pressure coming from Sarada’s portal. He’s completely overwhelmed, pinned right up against the massive vortex.
Meanwhile, we get a shot of the Thorned Soul regenerating, plus a dialogue scene with Eida, Boruto, and Koji. At the same time, the story cuts back to Konohamaru and Matsuri.
Things are looking really bad for Konohamaru. Matsuri stabs him with two sharp wooden spikes from the four sticking out of her collar.
But then, out of nowhere, someone throws a kunai into her back. It’s Boruto. He shows up right in the middle of the battlefield, teleporting in using the Flying Thunder God mark. Without hesitation, Boruto absolutely shreds Matsuri.
Koji freezes, cold sweat on his face. Clearly, he didn’t expect Boruto to step in. Then Jura smirks and says something like, “So you came after all, Otsutsuki Boruto.”
That’s how the chapter ends.
Boruto manga Chapter 21 is mind-blowing—not just because of Sarada’s new ability, but because it completely flips the power scale in the shinobi world. Her Mangekyō Sharingan now seems to grant a spatial technique that absorbs any attacks and even paralyzes powerful enemies like Ryu.
That alone is broken, but what’s even crazier is the fact that the portals can be scaled in size and aimed at multiple targets at once. This isn’t just a defense—it’s a strategic weapon.
And it’s through this power that my black hole theory is finally confirmed, and it looks like it’s becoming canon. Sarada isn’t just floating—she’s controlling gravity. Flying through gravitational manipulation? That’s next-level.
But the cost of this power is steep—she blacks out after using it.
So what we’re seeing isn’t just a strong character—it’s someone who’s surpassing every Uchiha before her through the sheer power of her Mangekyō Sharingan.
Based on current spoilers and all available info, Sarada is showing Mangekyō Sharingan abilities that no other Uchiha has ever displayed. Space-time vortexes that absorb attacks, paralyze enemies, and manipulate gravity—that’s an entirely new tier.
And gravity-based flight? No past Uchiha has had anything like that. Right now, Sarada has the most unique and potentially most broken Mangekyō Sharingan ability in Uchiha history.
And if she learns how to use it without passing out, she might reach a level not just equal to Sasuke or Madara, but to an Otsutsuki.
The scenes with Ryu, whose Claw Scratch technique gets completely shut down, show just how powerful Sarada’s ability is—even against tree-based fighters.
And while that’s happening, the parallel battle with Matsuri builds to the big climax—Boruto’s sudden arrival.
His intervention isn’t just hype—it’s proof of a new scale for this hero. He’s no longer just a shinobi. He’s now perceived as an Otsutsuki.
Koji and Jura feel it, and the tension goes off the charts.
