Why Naruto’s Fate Hinges on Talk no Jutsu
The Truth Behind His Sealing
Naruto Uzumaki—what fate awaits him next? Will he remain in the Daikokugan Dimension forever until all Otsutsuki and their remnants are eradicated from this Earth? As we know, Kawaki will never stop until every trace of the Otsutsuki, including Momoshiki residing in Boruto’s body, is completely gone—even Boruto himself. As long as Momoshiki is alive, there will be no answer to Naruto’s return.
There is no peace between Boruto and Momoshiki. There are many theories, and some even claim it would be perfect if Momoshiki and Boruto eventually reconciled, much like Naruto and Kurama did. However, how could that happen when Boruto, Naruto’s son, is the one who caused Momoshiki so much suffering and led to his death? There is no perfect ending for Naruto and Momoshiki, let alone peace between Boruto and Momoshiki.
Some might assume that Naruto will use his usual “Talk no Jutsu” on his enemies if he returns. However, this seems highly unlikely and unrealistic. To work on Naruto and the fate that awaits him, most importantly, we must understand why he was sealed. We cannot deny the fact that the reason for Naruto’s sealing is, as I mentioned earlier. But after entering the arc in Boruto manga chapter 17, I might have found a clue and an answer as to why Naruto was sealed beyond what I stated before.
So far, Masashi has revealed what a Togodama is, how to save every human who becomes a tree-like Sasuke, Moegi, and Shinki, and most importantly, the true identity of a Divine Tree Human. We now know that they are newborn baby monsters. Masashi is a genius. Even to think of this took a long time and required waiting for several chapters to be released.
As an overpowered villain known for his innocence, Ryu and Matsuri finally enter a scenario with Shikamaru and Koji, making them friends and betraying them. That is the choice Shikamaru and Koji have made. Even Shikamaru admits that this method sounds evil and that Naruto would disagree. From here on, I found another answer to why Naruto had to be sealed.
We know that the biggest threat right now is Shinju. Indeed, Jura is also targeting Naruto. But before I say this, do you all know the biggest reason why Naruto was sealed, aside from Kawaki not wanting Naruto to die? Please don’t judge whatever reason I give. The reason Naruto was sealed was the right decision: Talk no Jutsu. That’s the biggest reason why Naruto was sealed.
Please read my explanation first. I know this might sound silly, but I’m serious. I’m not rejecting or debating if Naruto was sealed because of Momoshiki’s threat, but Masashi has considered this ideally. As we know, Talk no Jutsu is an underrated but essential jutsu. I don’t know what kind of sentence is appropriate to describe this jutsu.
Before, you said that this doesn’t make sense, especially having just said that this jutsu won’t work on Momoshiki. But this is a different case. Momoshiki and Divine Tree Humans are two different types of entities. Jura, Hidari, Matsuri, Ryu, and Mamushi are newborn babies. As Shikamaru said, they are all still innocent and only react based on instinct.
Although overpowered, it is not a big problem if humans can control them and make them tame. If Naruto is not sealed, Talk no Jutsu is most likely the most effective way to utilize the innocent nature of a Divine Tree Human. Of course, Naruto can control them without putting much effort into defeating him. Moreover, they are all very overpowered, right? We can’t deny that Naruto, without Kurama, will be unable to defeat every Divine Tree Human. It’s impossible.
One of the ways is Talk no Jutsu itself. Naruto will quickly influence the minds of every Divine Tree Human and make them without having to have a big fight that causes damage. And again, I’m serious. It might be ridiculous to say that Naruto was sealed because of his Talk no Jutsu or even Momoshiki’s threat. That’s true. But to say that Talk no Jutsu is useless is wrong.
We can’t underestimate this power. Even Obito or Nagato—both of them are the result of Naruto’s Talk no Jutsu. A villain who has suffered since childhood and lived a miserable life can be affected by Naruto’s Talk No Jutsu. Then, will it be easy for Naruto to influence their innocent instincts that react based on instinct? Of course, it won’t be too difficult.
Why can I say this? It’s all, again, because of Shikamaru. I’m connecting some plausible reasons why Shikamaru mentioned Naruto during the mission this time, such as making Shinju a friend and betraying him. It’s all from Shikamaru’s words because they are valid in this way.
Naruto will not agree to it. With his kind and gentle nature, Naruto will not have the heart to do that, even though the Divine Tree Human threatens planet Earth. Naruto will think of an alternative to deal with them. Let alone his innocent nature, which is easy to tame—this is an easy opportunity and not impossible for Naruto to do, right? And this is no joke, guys. I’m serious about this, and it’s the right move.
The story would end too quickly, and the arc wouldn’t be very climactic if straightforward villains like Jura and the others were defeated by nothing more than Naruto’s persuasive Talk. Precisely with the plan to make them friends and betray them, this will be a perfect story. Especially if Ryu and Matsuri realize they were betrayed, they will be the ideal villains and will not trust any human being. Their savage nature as monsters will act even crazier, like monsters.
Whether this will apply to Ryu and Matsuri only or even to all of Shinju, I must strongly agree that if Ryu and Matsuri are betrayed, they will be furious and will not hesitate to kill every human they meet. For once, this is as Ryu said. Ryu would have been very disappointed, especially since he had previously said he planned to slaughter every shinobi they met immediately. However, because Ryu felt different when they first spoke, it made Ryu melt and tame. It was even very easy to make Ryu part of their scenario.
I hope this mission will fail in chapter 18 of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex or chapter 19, and Ryu or Matsuri will genuinely show their anger and power due to a betrayal. Do you believe that this mission will fail, or do you think that this mission will succeed?
In conclusion, in addition to sealing Naruto because of the threat of Momoshiki, one of the biggest reasons is his Talk no Jutsu. If it was just Momoshiki, Boruto could have suppressed Momoshiki’s consciousness by not using his karma as a trigger for his awakening. But if it was Jura, he couldn’t act rashly and devour Naruto without a question and conversation first. Jura will ask Naruto a lot of questions before he devours him. Of course, as a human, Naruto will control Jura as a baby monster with an innocent nature.
So, do you underestimate Talk no Jutsu? Speaking of Naruto’s destiny, what kind do you think awaits him? I’m waiting for your opinion on this. I’m not forcing you to believe in this theory, but please don’t judge if you disagree with me. At first, I was hesitant to write this, but if we connect it with Shikamaru mentioning Naruto and the way to tame the Divine Tree Human, I became confident to say it. Lastly.
